MOOC8/74.6 {18320630} 30 June 1832 Willem Jacobus Herbst Maria Johanna Magdalena Oberholzer Inventory of all such property as has been relinquished by the death ab intestato of Maria Johanna Magdalena Oberholzer on the 5th June 1832 for the benefit of her surviving husband Willem Jacobus Herbst on the one and her children procreated in this marriage, vizt Thus done and inventoried at the place Nieuwejaarsfontein in the fieldcornetcy Winterveld on the 30 June 1832 according to a statement made by the survivor who declared to have acted herein bonafide and that to the best of his knowledge he has not withheld or secreted any thing that belonged to the aforesaid estate and he, the appearer, further declared that he is and will at all times be ready and willing to confirm his statement by solemn oath if required, promising at the same time that if after the date of these presents any property belonging to said estate might be discovered he shall and will faithfully communicate it to the Agent of the Orphan Chamber in order to amplify this inventory with the property so discovered.
