MOOC8/74.30a {183306} June 1833 Anthony Philippus Erasmus Maria Petronella Botha Exh:d the 10 July 1833 n:o 5 Inventory of all such property as has been relinquished by the death ab intestato of Maria Petronella Erasmus (born Botha) who died on the 12 day of May 1833 aged 23 years 3 m:ts 6 days on the place called Pelorisons Kloof in the field cornetcy of Baviaans River in the district of Somerset for the benefit of her surviving husband Anthony Philippus Erasmus, and their undermentioned children and heirs procreated in lawful wedlock. Thus inventoried at Coks Kraal in the field cornetcy of Baviaans River in the district of Somerset on the [ ..... ] day of June 1833 according to a statement made by Anthony Philipus Erasmus who declared that he has acted herein bona fide and that to the best of his knowledge he has not withheld any thing that belongs to the estate, and the said Anthony Philipus Erasmus further declares that he is and will be at all times ready and willing to confirm this statement by solemn oath if required, promising at the same time that if after the date of these presents any property of this estate shall be discovered he will faithully communicate it to the Orphan Chamber in order to amplify this statement with the property so discovered.
