MOOC8/74.1 {18320324} 24 March 1832 Jacobus Strydom Johanna Catharina Welhelmina Meyer A true and perfect inventory and valuation of all and every the goods, chattels, and wares as well moveable, as immoveable debts, credits, and personal effects of Jacobus Strydom Daniel’s son and deceased wife Johanna Catherina Welhelmina Meyer, which latter died at the place Sprue Fontein in the Gouph in the field cornetcy of Matthys de Beer, on 20th February 1832. Thus done and valued at Sprue Fontein in the Gouph , on the twenty fourth day of March 1832 by Adrian Jacobus Olivier and Frederic Hendrik Swanepoel, according to the statement of Jacobus Strydom, who declares to have acted honestly and truly that nothing has been held back to the best of his knowledge and belief, and to be at all times ready to solemnise the same by oath, further promising and binding himself in the event of any thing coming to his recollection or knowledge to amplify this inventory with the same. Witnesses: H:J: Luttig, J: Kirsner Jacobus Strydom In my presence: J: Goodwin, Agent I the underssigned certify that the within named appraisers Adriaan Jacobus Olivier and Frederic Hendrik Swanepoel did appear before me and make oath that the aforesaid valuation is the just, proper and true valuation to the best of their skill and knowledge.
