MOOC8/73.3a {18310226} 26 February 1831 Fredrik Wilhelm Flamme Johanna Sophia Breedschoe Exhibited 2 March 1831 Paid the portion of the minor children in cash Inventory of the joint property of Fredrik Wilhelm Flamme and Johanna Sophia Breedschoe relinquished by the death of the firstmentioned on the twenty third day of the month of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty one. The deceased having by his last will and testament executed jointly with his aforesaid wife on the 2nd May 1826 before the Notary Public Mr Jacobus Petrus de Wet and witnesses, after having bequeathed several legacies by codicil dated 27th Novem: 1830 annexed to this last will and testament /:which legacies are entailed with fidei commis:/appointed as his sole and universal heirs, vizt: and has further requested and appointed the Board of Orphan Masters to be and to act as executors and guardians over the minor heirs in said will. In consequence whereof the undersigned commissioned Members of the Orphan Board have taken the joint estate under proper inventory and found the same to consist in the following, viz: Thus inventoried at the house aforesaid at the Cape of Good Hope on the 26 and 28 February 1831 according to a statement made by the wid: Flamme, Gerh:s Nicolaas Michau, Johan Franciscus and Johanna Maria Hendrica Flamme who declared to have acted herein bonafide and that to the best of their knowledge they have not withheld or secreted any thing that belonged to the aforesaid estate, and the said appearer further declared that they are and will at all times be ready and willing to confirm their statement by solemn oath if required promising at the same time, that if after the date of these presents any property might be discovered, will faithfully communicate it to the Orphan Chamber in order to amplify this inventory with the property so discovered. In witness whereof we the Commissioners together with the appearers and the Secretary have subscribed to these presents.
