Cornelis Willem Els Susanna Sophia Lotter
Inventory and valuation of all the property belonging to the estate of
Cornelis Willem Els and deceased wife Susanna Sophia Lotter, who died ab
intestato on the 16th day of Decembr 1831 leaving the following children,
viz:t
Thus inventoried at the place
Vaale Klip situate in the field cornetcy of
Bruintjes
Hoogte in the district of
Somerset , on
the 10th January 1832 according to the statement of the survivor Cornelis
Willem Els who declared to have acted herein bonafide and to the best of his
knowledge, that he has not kept back or secreted any thing that belongs to the
aforesaid estate and that he is ready and willing to confirm this statement
upon solemn oath if required, promising moreover that if he should hereafter
discover any property belonging to said estate he will faithfully communicate
it to the Agent of the Orphan Chamber in this district in order to amplify the
inventory therewith.

We the undersigned Christoffel Johannes Lotter Christoffels son, and
Johannes Cornelis Coetze do severally make oath and say that the property
belonging to the estate of Cornelis Willem Els and deceased wife Susanna Sophia
Lotter, as specified in the foregoing inventory has been appraised by us to the
best of our knowledge and ability and that the true value thereof is as
specified.
