MOOC8/73.32 {18320920} 20 September 1832 Johannes Hermanus Schalkwyk Stoffelina Elizabetha Johanna Snyman Inventory of the estate of Johannes Hermanus Schalkwyk and his deceased wife the late Stoffelina Elizabetha Johanna Schalkwyk (born Snyman). The said Mrs Schalkwyk died on the 6th Sept: 1832 at 12 o clock at night leaving three minor children. The death took place on the farm Bosch Fontein , situated in the field cornetcy of Bushmans River , district of Albany . The names of the children are We the undersigned Carel Hendrik Kuilder and Johannes Potgieter do hereby jointly and severally make oath and declare that we have carefully and truly appraised the estate and effects hereinbefore set forth and that the valuation is the just, proper and true valuation thereof to the best of our skill and knowledge. Graham’s Town 20th September 1832 D: Campbell, J:P: for A: and S: C:H: Keulder, Veltcornet J: Potgieter In my presence: R: Godlonton, Agent for Albany I, Hermanes Schalkwyk, do hereby certify that the account of the debts and credits of the estate of myself and deceased wife Stoffelina Elizabetha Johanna Schalkwyk /born Sneyman/ as rendered in the annexed inventory is a bona fide statement, that nothing has been concealed or secreted to the best of my knowledge, that I am at all times willing to confirm this statement by oath if need be, and that if any further property be discovered I will report the same to the Chamber.
