MOOC8/72.5 {18291107} 7 November 1829 Andries Stephanus Botes Johanna Susanna Raath J:G: Brink A true and perfect inventory and valuation of all and every the goods, chatels and wares as well moveable as not, debts, credits and other personal effects of Andries Stephanus Botes and deceased wife Johanna Susanna Raath, which latter died at the place Weltevreden on the 4 August 1829 between the hours of 2 and 3 o’ clock, still within the fieldcornetcy of Christiaan Hattingh this district and given up and valued as follows: Thus done and valued in the village of Beaufort on Saturday the 7th day of November 1829 by Mess:rs Petrus Johannes Botes and Charl du Toit according to the statement of Andries Stephanus Botes, who declared in his above statement of this estate to have acted honestly and truly that nothing has been held back to the best of his knowledge and judgment and to be at all times ready if called upon to solemnize the same by oath, further promising and binding himself in the event of anything else belonging to this estate coming to his recollection and knowledge to amplify this inventory with the same.
