Inventory and appraisement of the effects left by the intestate death of
Gerhardus Stephanis Viljoen, 46 years of age, born in this Colony and departed
this life on the 27th of January 1830 at his place called
Koega River situated in the district of
Uitenhage to his surviving widow Susara
Alettha van Staden and to their six minor children begotten in marriage,
named
on account of the aforesaid estate has been taken in writing and appraised
by the Fieldcornet Hendrik Petrus van Staden and the undersigned witnesses and
consists as follows, viz:

We, the undersigned, having been called upon by the Agent for the Board of
Orphan Masters of
Uitenhage , Alexander
Tennant, to act as appraisers upon the valuation of the property belonging to
the estate of Gerhardus Stephanus Viljoen, deceased, and his surviving widow
Sarah Alettha van Staden, do make oath that the annex is a good, proper and
true valuation thereof to the best of our skill and knowledge.
