MOOC8/72.12 {18300621} 21 Junij 1830 David Christiaan Strous Zacharia Petronella Scholtz Inventory and valuation of all such goods and effects as have been possessed in communion by the late Zacharia Petronella Scholtz and surviving husband David Christiaan Strous and which are left by the former who died on the 20th October 1829 ab intestato. Thus done and inventoried at Graaff Reinet on the 21st day of June 1830 according to the declaration of David Christiaan Strous, who declared that to the best of his knowledge he has given up all the effects that belong to said estate with further promise should anything be found afterwards to add it to this inventory for all which he offered to make oath if required. The said estate being appraised by Messr:s Stephanus Jacobus Naude and Andries Johannes Lubbe in the presence of me the undersigned agent to the Orphan Chamber and witnesses. As appraisers: S:J: Naude, Andries Johannes Lubbe As witnesses: C: Boshof, J:P: Meintjes David Chrisstaan Straus In my presence: J:J: Auret, Agent We, the undersigned, Stephanus Jacobus Naude and Andries Johannes Lubbe do hereby swear that the appraisement on the annexed inventory of the estate of the late Zacharia Petronella Scholtz and surviving husband David Christiaan Strous is a just, proper and true valuation to the best of our knowledge.
