MOOC8/71.9 {18281028} 28 October 1828 Willem Johannes van Biljoen Johanna Willemina Botha Inventory and taxation of all such goods and effects as have been possessed in communion by the late Johanna Willemina Botha and surviving husband Willem Johannes van Biljoen and which are left by the former who died on the 16 April 1827 ab intestato. Thus done and inventoried at Graaff Reinet on the 28th day of October 1828 according to the declaration of the said Willem Johannes van Biljoen who declared that to the best of his knowledge he has given up all the effects that belong to said estate, with further promise should any thing be found afterwards to add it to this inventory for all which he offered to make oath if required. The said estate being appraised by messrs Johannes Alidarus Venter St: son and Gert Petrus Kotzee G:s son in the presence of me the undersigned Agent to the Orphan Chamber. As appraisers: Johannis Aledaruis Venter, Gert Petrus Kotsee As witnesses: G:J: Broekhuisen, J:S: Meintjes Willim Johannis van Biljon In my presence: J: Auret, Agent We the undesigned Johannes Alidarus Venter and Gert Petrus Kotze do hereby swear that the appraisement in the annexed inventory of the estate of the late Johanna Willemina Botha and surviving husband Willem Johannes van Biljoen is a just, proper and true valuation to the best of our knowledge.
