MOOC8/71.7 {18280606} 6 June 1828 Willem Hendrik Jacobsz Maria Elisabeth Barnard Inventory and taxation of all such goods and effects as have been possessed in communion by the late Maria Elisabeth Barnard and surviving husband Willem Hendrik Jacobsz Jan son and which are left by the former who died on the 12 Mey 1828 abintestate. Thus done and inventoried at Graaff Reinet on the 6th day of June 1828 at the dwelling house of Willem Hendrik Jacobsz Jan son in this village according to the declaration of the said W:H: Jacobsz who after having produced and pointed out to me the said effects, moreover stated to have acted herein bona fide and faithfully and to have not intentionally omitted or hidden any thing that belongs to this estate, promising at the same time that if afterwards anything more may be discovered to add it to this inventory for all which he offered to make oath if required. The said estate being appraised by messers Gysbert Johannes Broekhuisen and Hendrik Petrus Coetzee in the presence of me the undersigned Agent of the Orphan Chamber.
