MOOC8/71.3a {18280321} 21 March 1828 Hendrik Balthasar Louis Klopper Jacoba Wilhelmina Grylingh Inventory and appraisement of the effects left by the estestate death of Jacoba Wilhelmina Grylingh to her surviving husband Hendrik Balthasar Louis Klopper and their minor child begotten in marriage named an account of the aforesaid property has been taken in writing by the Field Cornet C:F: van der Nest in the presence of witnesses and inventoried and appraised by the undersigned Commissioners of the Orphan Board in manner following, viz: Thus inventoried and appraised in the Orphan Chamber at the Cape of Good Hope on the 21 March 1828 according to a statement of Arend Josias van Breda junior in his capacity as agent to the widower mentioned in the premises by power of attorney dated 12 December 1827 passed before the then secretary of Somerset , M:J: van Nult Onkruydt and witnesses, who declared to have acted with good faith in this respect and not to have kept anything concealed belonging to the estate above mentioned, promising further in the event of any thing else not here stated belonging to the estate in question being discovered to render a true account thereof to the Orphan Chamber, with the view to the same being added to this inventory. In witness whereof the said Arend Josias van Breda junior, has hereunto affixed his signature in the presence of the undersigned commissioned Members of the Orphan Chamber and of me the Chief Clerk.
