The Wildcard Search

MOOC8/71.17 {18290310} 10 March 1829 Petrus Nicolaas Wieze Inventory and appraisement of all such property as has been relinquished by the death ab intestato of Petrus Nicolaas Wieze Jans son for the benefit of his surviving widow Jacoba Elisabeth Dreyer, and to the three minor children begotten in wedlock with his aforesaid widow, named the aforesaid estate having been inventoried by the fieldcornet A:H:C: van Zyl in the presence of witnesses, and appraised by Johannes Augustus Dreyer the father in law of the deceased, and consist in the following, viz: Thus done and inventoried in the Orphan Chamber at the Cape of Good Hope on the 10 March 1829 (and appraised by the aforesaid Johannes Augustus Dreyer) according to a statement made by the widow named in the premises, who declared to have acted with good faith in this respect and not to have kept any thing concealed, belonging to the estate above mentioned, and the appearer further declared that she is and will at all times be ready and willing to confirm her statement by solemn oath if required, promising at the same time, in the event of any thing else not here stated belonging to the estate should be discovered, to render a true account thereof to the Orphan Chamber in order to amplify this inventory with the property so discovered. In witness whereof the appearer has hereunto affixed her signature, as also the said Joh:s Augustus Dreyer as appraiser.
