MOOC8/48.5 {18330412} 12 April 1833 Ephraim Roberts Sale 25 April 1833 Inventory of all such property as has been relinquished by the death of Ephraim Roberts on the twelfth day of the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty three. The deceased having by his last will and testament executed on the 9:th April 1833 before the Notary Jacobus Petrus de Wet and witnesses appointed as his sole and universal heirs his seven children, viz:t and has further requested and appointed the Board of Orphan Masters to be the executors of his last will and guardians of his minor heirs. The aforesaid property consists as follows At Mr J:M: Hurter’s place Zonnebloem Thus done and inventoried at the place aforesaid at the Cape of Good Hope on the [ ..... ] April 1833 according to the statement made by Catharina Abrahamse, concubine of the deceased, who declared to have acted herein bonafide and that to the best of her knowledge she has not withheld or secreted any thing that belonged to the aforesaid estate and the said appearer further declared that she is and will at all times be ready and willing to confirm her statement by solemn oath if required, promising at the same time that if after the dates of these presents any property belonging to the aforesaid estate may be discovered she will faithfully communicate it to the Orphan Chamber in order to amplify this inventory with the property so discovered.
