MOOC8/48.10 {18331128} 28 November 1833 Susanna Jacoba Pieterse Stamp Rd:s1 1/2, legaat Rd:s3 Sale 14 Decemb: 1833 Inventory of all such property as has been relinquished by the death of Susanna Jacoba Pieterse widow of George Rusch on the 24:th day of the month of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty three. The deceased having by her last will and testament executed on the 24:th October 1833 before the Notary public Mr Petrus de Wet and certain witnesses, after having bequeathed several legacies, appointed as her sole and universal heirs the grand children of Sara Pieterse widow of Isaac Lezar and her three nieces, subject to this express condition that Sara Pieterse widow of Isaac Lezar shall enjoy the interest upon the said inheritances during her life time The deceased having further appointed the Board of Orphan Masters to be the executors of her last will and guardians over her minor heirs. In consequence whereof the undersigned commissioned Member of the Board having proceeded to take an inventory of the estate and previously removed the seals fixed on the property which were whole and unbroken, found the same to consist as follows Household furniture Thus done and inventoried at the house aforesaid on the 21 of November 1833 according to a statement made by the aforesaid heirs who declared to have acted herein bonafide and that to the best of their knowledge they have not withheld or secreted any thing that belonged to the aforesaid estate, and the said appearers further declared that they are and will at all times be ready and willing to confirm their statement by solemn oath if required declaring that if after the date of these presents any property belonging to the aforesaid estate may de discovered they will faithfully communicate it to the Orphan Chamber in order to amplify this inventory with the property so discovered In witness whereof I, the Commissioner, together with the appearers and me, the Secretary, have subscribed to these presents.
