MOOC8/47.3 {18310106} 6 January 1831 Pieter van den Berg Joh:s He:k son , Aletta Maria van der Merwe Graaf R: Sale 24 February 1831 Inventory of all such goods and effects as have been possessed in communion by the late Aletta Maria van der Merwe widow of the late Jan Albert van Nieukerk J:A: son and surviving husband Pieter van den Berg Joh:s He:k son and which are left by the former who died on the 30:th November 1830 ab intestato The above heirs were born in former marriage with the late Jan Albert Nieukerk J:A: son Thus done and inventoried at Graaff Reinet this 6:th day of January 1831 according to the declaration of Pieter van den Berg Johannis Hendrik’s son who declared that to the best of his knowledge he has given up all the effects that belong to said estate with further promise should any thing be found afterwards to add it to this inventory for all which he offered to make oath if required. The said estate being appraised by Messrs Jacob Petrus Naude and Gabriel Nicolaas van den Berg in the presence of me the undersigned Agent to the Orphan Chamber and witnesses.
