MOOC8/47.2 {18321217} 17 December 1832 Maria Elizabeth Wicht Exh:d the 19:th December 1832, n:o 26 Inventory of all such property as has been relinquished by the intestate death of Maria Elizabeth Wicht aged 11 years and 6 months on the 6:th December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty two, for the benefit of her father Hans Hendrik Wicht on the one part, and her brothers and sister, namely which aforesaid property consist as follows At the house of Mr Hans Hendrik Wicht situated in Bree Street Thus done and inventoried at the house aforesaid at the Cape of Good Hope on the 17 Decemb: 1832 according to a statement made by the aforesaid Hans Hendrik Wicht, who declared to have acted herein bonafide and that to the best of his knowlegde he has not withheld or secreted any thing that belonged to the aforesaid estate and the said appearer further declared that he is and will at all times be ready and willing to confirm his statement by solemn oath if required, promising at the same time that if after the date of these presents any property belonging to the aforesaid estate may be discovered, he will faithfully communicate it to the Orphan Chamber in order to amplify this inventory with the property so discovered.
