MOOC8/47.19 {18321210} 10 December 1832 Maria Christina Kraaywinkel Exhibited 12 Dec: 1832 Inventory of all such property as has been relinquished by the death of Maria Christina Kraaywinkel wife of Andries de Roos on the 6:th day of the month of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty two. The deceased having by her last will and testament executed on the 12 May 1830 before the Notary Public Mr Jacobus Petrus de Wet and witnesses after having bequeathed several legacies, appointed as her sole and universal heiress her only daughter Ester Andrietta Constantia de Roos married to Maarten Godlieb Eckard, which inheritance is entailed with fidei commissium and further requested and appointed the Board of Orphan Masters to be and to act as executors and guardians over the heir in said will. In consequence whereof the undersigned Commissioned Member of the Orphan Board has taken the said estate under proper inventory and found the same to consist as follows. The seals previously placed in the property having been found whole and unbroken. In a house belonging to the Lutheran Church Thus done and inventoried at the house aforesaid at the Cape of Good Hope on the 10 Decemb: 1832 according to a statement made by the aforesaid Ester Andrietta Constantia de Roos and Maarten Godlieb Eckard who declared to have acted herein bonafide and that to the best of their knowledge they have not withheld or secreted any thing that belonging to the aforesaid estate and the said appearers further declared that they are and will at all times be ready and willing to confirm their statement by solemn oath, promising further that if after the date of these presents any property belonging to this estate may be discovered they will faithfully communicate it to the Orphan Chamber in order to amplify this inventory with the property so discovered. In witness whereof I the Commissioner together with the appearers and the Chief Clerk have subscribed to these presents.
