MOOC8/47.13a {18320901} 1 September 1832 Charl Johannes Burger Exh:d the 5:th of Sept:r 1832, n:o 32 Inventory of all such property belonging to the estate of the late Charl Johannes Burger Pietson relinquished by his intestate death on the 24:th July 1832 aged 33 years at the place of his father called Kruysman’s Rivier situate at Picquetberg in the Cape district for the benefit of his father Petrus Burger one the one part and his brothers and sisters procreated in two different marriages, viz:t [Charl is a son of Maria Magdalena Oberholster and Piet Bruyn] The aforesaid property having been inventoried by the undersigned Johannes Albertus Basson /field cornet/ and was found to consist as follows Thus done and inventoried at the place of Petrus Burger called Kruysman’s Rivier situated at Picquetberg in the Cape district according to the statement of said Petrus Burger who declare to have acted herein bonafide and that to the best of his knowledge he has not secreted or withheld anything that belonged to the said estate he further declared that he will at all times be ready and willing to confirm his statement by solemn oath if required and that after the date of these presents anything further may be discovered belonging to the estate he will faithfully communicate or cause to be communicated the same to the Orphan Chamber in order that the same may be duly amplified to this inventory as witnessed by his hand hereunto subscribed.
