MOOC8/47.12 {18321127} 27 November 1832 Helena Apolonia Daniels Sale 8 Decemb: 1832 Inventory of all such property as has been relinquished by the intestate death of Helena Apolonia Daniels on the 25:th day of the month of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty two for the benefit of her illegitimate children here undermentioned The aforesaid property having been taken under the administration of the Orphan Board for the benefit of her aforesaid heirs and been inventoried by the undersigned Commissioner Orphan Masters was found to consist as follows. The seals previously placed on the shop door having been found whole and unbroken. At the house of Mrs the wid: Krynauw N: 34 Buitengragt Thus done and inventoried at the house aforesaid at the Cape of Good Hope on the 27 of Novemb: 1832 according to a statement made by the aforesaid Pieter Tonkin, Johan George and Coenraad Ambrosius Pool who declared to have acted herein bona fide and that to the best of their knowledge they have not withheld or secreted any thing that belongs to the aforesaid estate and the said appearers further declared that they are and will at all times be ready if required to confirm their statement by solemn oath, promising that if after the date of these presents any property belonging to the aforesaid may be discovered they will faithfully communicate it to the Orphan Chamber in order to amplify this inventory with the property so discovered. In witness whereof we the undersigned Commissioners together with the appearers and me the Secretary have subscribed to these presents As Commissioners: C: Blanckenberg Pieter Tonkin, John George Pool, Coenraad Ambrosius Pool In my presence: H: Tennant, Sec: List of further articles found since the day of sale belonging to the estate of the late Helena Apolina Daniels and given up to the Board of Orphan Masters administering the said estate by the undersigned, viz:t Cape Town Jan:y 15:th 1832 Peter Tonkin
