MOOC8/46.92 {18310826} 26 August 1831 Petrus Johannes Erasmus , Anna Sophia Botha District of Somerset Sale 18 Nov: 1831 Inventory of all such property as has been relinquished by the death ab intestato of Petrus Johannes Erasmus on the 30th of July 1831, at the place Veets Kraal , Buffelshoek in the district of Somerset for the benefit of his surviving widow Anna Sophia Botha on the one, and his children named The above claims against the estate are admitted by the surviving widow and full aged heirs present. Thus inventoried at Veets Kraal in the fieldcornetcy of Zwagershoek , district of Somerset on the 26th day of August 1831 according to a statement made by Carel Stephanus Erasmus and Philippus Lodewicus Erasmus, who declared to have acted herein bona fide and that to the best of their knowledge and belief they have not withheld or secreted any property belonging to the aforesaid estate, and the said appearers further declare that they are and will be at all times ready and willing to confirm the same by solemn oath if required; promising at the same time that if after the date of these presents any property belonging to this estate may be discovered, he will faithfully communicate the same to the Orphan Chamber in order to amplify this inventory with the property so discovered. as per book kept by the deceased the Bastard Hottentot David Bantam residing at Vogel River in this district per balance	62
