Inventory of the effects left by the intestate death of Abel Hermanus
Erasmus born in this Colony and who was drowned at the "
Groot Rivier " in the fieldcornetcy of
Winterhoek in the
Uitenhage district on or about the 26:th of January
1831 aged 40 years, to his surviving widow Cornelia Elizabeth Besuydenhout and
to their one aged and nine minor children begotten in marriage, named
on account of the aforesaid estate has been taken in writing by the
fieldcornet Hendrik Petrus van Staden, on the 28:th February 1831, and consists
as follows
