The deceased having by his last will and testament executed on the 9:th instant before the Notary Public Christiaan Michiel Lind and witnesses appointed as his heirs his four lawful children, procreated with the free woman Marietje of the Cape, viz: And has further requested and appointed in said will the Board of Orphan Masters of this Colony, to be and to act as his executors. Memorandum - The two parasols delivered by Mr Klerk to the Orphan Chamber as belonging to the minor children of the deceased, on this date returned by the Orphan Chamber to the mother of said children for their use - 3 Sept:r 1829Thus inventoried at the Cape of Good Hope in the house aforesaid on the sixteenth day of the month of August in the year one thousand eight hundred and twenty seven according to a statement made by Messrs A: Scott and Johan Daniel Klinck whom declared to have acted herein bonafide and that to the best of their knowledge, they have not withheld or secreted any thing that belonged to the aforesaid estate, and the said appearers further declared that is, and will at all times be ready and willing to confirm their statement by solemn oath if required, promising at the same time that if after the date of these presents, any property of this estate may be discovered shall faithfully communicate it to the Orphan Chamber in order to amplify this inventory with the property so discovered
