MOOC8/46.43 {18310616} 16 June 1831 John Hopkinson Lolley , Thomas Heyward Inventory of all the joint stock and property possessed in copartnership by the late John Hopkinson Lolley of Cape Town Distiller wholesale and retail storekeeper, and Thomas Heyward of the same place cooper, which aforesaid property having been inventoried in the presence of the undersigned commissioned Members of the Orphan Board, has been found to consist as follows, viz:t Thus done and inventoried at the Cape of Good Hope on the 16th June 1831 according to a statemand made by Mr Thomas Hayward who declared to have acted herein bonafide and to the best of his knowledge he has not withheld or secreted any thing that belonged to the aforesaid firm, and the said appearer further declared that he is and will at all times be ready and willing to confirm his statement by solemn oath if required, promising at the same time that if after the date of these presents any property of this firm might be discovered will faithfully communicate it to the Orphan Chamber in order to amplify this inventory with the property so discovered.
