MOOC8/46.104 {18290121} 21 January 1829 Johanna Margaritha Carolina Kilian Inventory of all such property as has been relinquished by the death of Johanna Margaritha Carolina Kilian separated wife of Johannis Marthinus Nonnemacher on the eleventh day of the month of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty nine. The deceased having by her last will and testament executed on the 11th Novemb: 1828 before the Notary Public, Johannes Nicolaas Meeser, and certain witnesses after having bequeathed several legacies appointed as her sole and universal heirs under certain conditions and restrictions more fully explained in said will, viz:t The portion of inheritances being entailed with fideicommis and has further appointed the worshipful Board of Orphan Masters of this Colony in said will to be and to act as her executors. In consequence of which the aforesaid property having been inventoried by the undersigned special Commissioner from the Orphan Board and was found to consist in the following, viz:t At the house of Johanna Robaix, the late residence of the deceased Thus done and inventoried in Cape Town Cape of Good Hope on the 21st January 1829 according to a statement made by Jacob Frederik Stober and Maria Elizabeth Kilian wife of Carel Bester who declared to have acted herein bona fide and to the best of their knowledge they have not withheld or secreted any thing that belonged to the aforesaid estate and the said appearers further declared they are and will at all times be ready and willing to confirm their statement by solemn oath if required, promising at the same time that if after the date of these, presents and property belonging to aforesaid estate might be discovered will faithfully communicate it to the Orphan Chamber in order to amplify this inventory with the property so discovered.
