Inventory of moveable and immoveable chattels and effects belonging to the
estate of the late Adam Barnard, died at the place

years and 6 months, committed to paper by the agent to the Orphan Chamber at
George , on this 12th day of January 1832.

Barnard with the interest thereon from Hendrik Barnard Adams:son residing at
the place of the deceased as aforementioned is indebted in the sum of Rd:s100
on a promissory note drawn by him in favor of the late A: Barnard with interest
thereon from the month of October 1829 |
| Marthinus Christoffel Botha Adam:son of Hooge Kraal in the field cornetcy of J:G: Schols in
this district is indebted to the estate in the sum of Rd:s80 on a promissory
note with the interest thereon from the 1st March 1817 |
| Christoffel H: Rothman residing in the town of Swellendam is indebted to the estate in the
sum of Rd:s30 being a balance due by him for a quantity of wagonwood received
from A: Barnard which was sold to him for Rd:s140 |
| Hendrik Christoffel Barnard Jans:son of Matjesdrift in the field cornetcy of M: Rensburg is
indebted to the estate in the sum of Rd:s[ ..... ] for the taking care of the
orphan minor Lea Louisa Botha who remained with the late and was maintained by
A: Barnard till his decease the said sum of Rd:s71 is the balance of the yearly
interest due to the said Lea Louisa Botha that amounts to Rd:s123 due on the
capital left to her by her late parents. |
