MOOC8/45.96 {18270816} 16 August 1827 Hendrik Jacobus Visser Gert son , Anna Gysberta Elisabeth Basson Michiels daughter Inventory of all such property of Hendrik Jacobus Visser Gert son and his wife Anna Gysberta Elisabeth Basson Michiels daughter relinquished by the intestate death of the firstmentioned on the first day of the month of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty seven for the benefit of his aforesaid wife on the one and his four children procreated in wedlock with his aforsaid wife on the other hand, namely The aforesaid property having been taken under the administration of the Board of Orphan Masters of this Colony in behalf of the aforesaid heirs, and been inventoried by the undersigned was found to consist in the following, viz:t At the place Volvedans situated at Swartland belonging to Gerrit Visser Thus inventoried at the Cape of Good Hope at the place Wolvedans on the sixteenth day of the month of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty seven, according to a statement made by the widow who declared to have acted herein bonafide, and that to the best of her knowledge she has not withheld or secreted any thing that belonged to the aforesaid estate and the said appearer further declared that she is, and will at all times be ready and willing to confirm her statement by solemn oath if required, promising at the same time that if after the date of these presents any property of this estate might be discovered shall and will faithfully communicate it to the Orphan Chamber, in order to amplify this inventory with the property so discovered.
