MOOC8/45.66 {18261113} 13 November 1826 Martha Elisabeth Adriana de Coker H: Somerset A true and perfect inventory of all goods, chattels and effects as also credits and debts of the estate of the deceased Martha Elisabeth Adriana de Coker, last widow of the late Hendrik Janssen who died intestate in the Nieuweveld subdistrict Beaufort , on the 5:th Ocober 1826, viz:t This done and registered at the places Blyde Voortuitsicht and Steenkamps Hoek in Nieuweveld sub-district Beaufort on the 13:th November 1826 by me the undersigned Secretary in the presence of the clerk Christian Johannes Rabe and auctioneer Hartwich Johannes Luttig as witnesses, according to the statement of Johannes van der Horst senior, (late with service of the deceased and still overseer of the property) who declares that in giving up this estate he has acted honestly and truly and that nothing has been held back to the best of his knowledge and judgment, and further declares to be always ready (if called upon) to solemnise the same by oath, binding himself, in the event of anything further coming to his recollection or knowledge, to add the same to this inventory.
