MOOC8/45.50 {18270613} 13 June 1827 Johanna Catharina Luyten Inventory of all such property as have been relinquished by the death of Johanna Catharina Luyten formerly wife of Robert Phillips on the twelfth day of the month of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty seven. The deceased having by her last will and testament executed on the [ ..... ] before the Notary Public Rynier Beck and witnesses appointed as her sole and universal heirs her children procreated by the aforesaid Robert Phillips, named and has further requested and appointed in said will the Board of Orphan Masters of this Colony to be and to act as her executors. In consequence of which the aforesaid property was duly inventoried by the undersigned special Commissioners from the Orphan Board was found to consist in the following, viz:t In a house belonging to L: Roufout situated in Rose Street n:o 10 Thus inventoried at the Cape of Good Hope in the house aforementioned on the thirteenth day of the month of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty seven according to a statement made by Abraham Jacobus Felix s:r who declared to have acted herein bonafide and that to the best of his knowledge he has not withheld or secreted any thing that belonged to the aforesaid estate and the said appearer further declared that he is, and will at all times be ready and willing to confirm his statement by solemn oath if required promising at the same time that if after the date of these presents any property of the estate might be discovered shall and will faithfully communicate it to the Orphan Chamber in order to amplify this inventory with the property so discovered. In witness whereof I the Commissioner together with the Head Clerk of the Orphan Chamber and the appearer have subscribed to these presents.
