MOOC8/45.21 {18270205} 5 February 1827 Jacobus Petrus le Roe J:G: Brink Inventory of the goods and effects belonging to the estate of the late Jacobus Petrus Leroe who departed on the 29:th January last, at the place Saras Rivier . Done by Eduard Christiaan Leroe at the rekwisietien of the Board of Orphan Masters at the Cape of Good Hope in their capacity as guardions of the minor heirs of said Leroe, being his brothers and sisters, named Consisting of the goods and effects as foll:, viz: His hereditary portion in the estate of his late parents Abraham Leroe and Aletta van der Merwe, administered bij m:r J:W: Groenewalt and W:J: van Zyl as executors of the said estate yet unliquidated. On this day the 5:th February 1827 appeared before me Johannes Petrus Muller duly authorised by J:F: Bam as Agent of the Orphan Masters above mentioned Eduard Christiaan Leroe who declareth that he with regard to this his statement had acted faithfully and upreithly and not to have withheld or concealed what he know to be the property of said estate promising however that if anij further property should be found belonging to the estate, that in such case to amplify this inventory with the same, being finally ready to make oath for the truth of this statement This done and executed at the place Saraas Rivier , 1827 As witnesses: H:s J:s Crous, Thomas Clarke E:C: Leroe In my presence: J:P: Muller Inventory of the goods and effects belonging to the estate of the late Jacobus Petrus Leroe who departed on the 29:th Jan:y last at the place Saras River done by Eduard Christiaan Leroe at requisition of the Board of Orphan Masters at the Cape of Good Hope in their capacity as guardians of the minor heirs of said Leroe being his brothers and sisters named Consisting of the goods and effects as following, viz: His hereditary portion in the estate of his late parents Abraham Leroe and Aletta van der Merwe administered by m:r J:W: Groenewald and W:J: van Zyl as executors of the said estate yet unliquidated.
