MOOC8/45.115 {18291031} 31 October 1829 Coenraad Scheepers Thursday, sale 7 January 1830 Inventory and appraisement of the effects left by the intestate death of Coenraad Scheepers, who departed this life on the 29:th August 1829 at the place called Dekselfontyn situated in the Field Cornetcy of Under Bushman River aged about 83 years to his four surviving aged children begotten in marriage by his deceased wife Elsje Oosthuyzen named Magdalena Scheepers, Frederik Johannes Scheepers, Petronella Scheepers, Johannes Marthinus Scheepers and to their surviving twelve grand children and to their great grand child, see the names per annexed list, an account of the aforesaid estate has been taken in writing by the field cornet C:V: Buchner and the undersigned witnesses and consists as follows, viz: Names of the grand children and great grand child, viz: Kruysfontein 31 October 1829 As witnesses: signed: C:F: Scheepers F: son, C: Scheepers G:t son Signed: C: V: Buchner, Field C:t Zertieveert als dat ik op heden den 31 October 1829 meij hebben begeven ter platze van de wedewe Gert Scheepers genaamt Kruijsfontijn en al daar en present van den na te melde getuigen onder inventaris genoomen hebben de volgende goederen het nalatenschap van den overledenen Coenderaad Scheepers de oude overleden op den 29:st Augustus 1829 zijnde er gene testament werdende als Cornielis Tobias Vermaak segt als dat hij eenen vordering tegen deese boedel hebt van Rd:s545 dewelke spruijt uijt erfenis van sijn overledene vrouw Elsie Scheepers hare moeders porstie van Elsie Oosthuijse gewesene vrouw van den overledene Coenderaad Scheepers Kruijs Vontuijn den 31 October 1829 Als getuigen: C:F: Scheepers F: zoon, C: Scheepers Gert zoon C:J: Buchner, Veldcornet P:S: Den overledene C: Scheepers zijn gestorven beij Jan Meijer de oude en hij vordert naar het toe bereijden der begraffenis Rd:s25.
