MOOC8/45.110 {18290421} 21 April 1829 Hercules Venter , Engela Elisabeth Pretorius Inventory of all such goods and effects as have been possessed in communion by the late Hercules Venter, born in this Colony died on the 1:st February 1829 aged 41 years at the place Knoffel Valey situated in the fieldcornetcy Lower Seacow Rivier district Graaff Reinet and surviving widow Engela Elisabeth Pretorius ab intestato Thus done and inventoried at the place Knoffel Valey situated in the fieldcornetcy Lower Seacow Rivier district of Graaff Reinet on the 30 April 1829 according to the declaration of Engela Elisabeth Pretorius widow of the late Herculas Venter who declared that to the best of her knowledge she has given up all the effects that belong to said estate, with further promise should anything be found afterwards to add it to this inventory for all which she offered to make oath if required.
