MOOC8/44.63 {18301029} 30 October 1829 Roelof van Wyk Magdalena Catharina Smit Inventory of all such goods and effects as have been possessed in communion of property by the late Magdalena Catharina Smit widow of the late Roelof van Wyk born in this Colony died in the month of July 1823 aged 39 years in the field cornetcy Nieuw Hantam at the place Taayboschfontein district of Graaff Reinet and surviving husband Johannes Petrus Strydom ab intestato Thus done and inventoried at Graaff Reinet on the 30:th October 1829 according to the declaration of Johannes Petrus Strydom who declared that to the best of his knowledge he has given up all the effects that belong to said estate with further promise should any thing be found afterwards to add it to this inventory for all which he offered to make oath if required. In the presence of me, the undersigned Agent to the Orphan Chamber, and G:J: Broekhuisen and J:N: Boshof as witnesses.
