MOOC8/44.58 {18290727} 27 July 1829 Adriaan Louw Vendutie 27 July 29 Compared with the books of the slave office Inventory of all such property as has been relinquished by the intestate death of Adriaan Louw Danielson in the month of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty nine for the benefit of his under mentioned heirs, viz:t The aforesaid property having been taken under the administration of the Board of Orphan Masters of this Colony in behalf of the said heirs and been inventoried by the undersigned special Commissioner of the Board aforesaid was found to consist in the following, viz:t At the place of Mr Pieter Jacob de Villiers situated at Ribeeks Kasteel The abovementioned claims appears in notes of hand executed by the debtors Thus done and inventoried at the place aforesaid on the 27:th July 1829 according to a statement made by aforesaid Pieter Jacob de Villiers who declared to have acted herein bonafide, and that to the best of his knowledge he has not withheld or secreted any thing that belonged to the aforesaid estate and the said appearer further declared that he is and will at all times be ready and willing to confirm his statement by solemn oath if required, promising at the same time that if after the date of these presents any property of this estate might be discovered shall faithfully communicate it to the Orphan Chamber in order to amplify this inventory with the property so discovered.
