MOOC8/44.30 {18280617} 17 June 1828 Jacobus Vievier Catharina Sarah Nielsen Inventory of the goods and effects belonging to the intestate estate of the late Jacobus Vievier and his surviving widow Catharina Sarah Nielsen, the said Jacobus Vievier having died on the 22:nd day of April one thousand eight hundred and twenty eight on a certain Government place situated at the Hoenap River in the district of Albany under the field cornetcy of John Dryer aged 54 years 7 months and 10 days born in this Colony, leaving the following children Two hundred sixteen pounds nine shillings and three pence half penny sterling Thus done inventory taken and appraised at the farm of Hermanus Lombard called Seekoehoek situated on the Fish River in the district of Albany on the seventeenth day of June one thousand eight hundred and twenty eight. As witnesses: Catharina Sara Wiewee, Hermanus Lombard J:G: de Villiers, Agent We the undersigned Martinus Jacobus Potgieter and Hans Jury Lombaard, inhabitants of the district of Albany , chosen appraisers of the intestate estate of the late Jacobus Vievier and his surviving widow Catharina Sarah Nielsen do hereby make oath and declare that the foregoing estimate is to the best of our knowledge and belief a just and proper valuation.
