MOOC8/44.3 {18280422} 22 April 1828 Hendrik van Eck Geertruida Elisabeth Lier J:G: Brink Exhib: 14 May 1828, n:o 5 A true and perfect inventory of all and every the goods, chatels, wares as well moveable as not debts, credits and other personal effects of the deceased Hendrik van Eck and predeceased wife Geertruida Elisabeth Lier which former died at the farm Brandfontein , Nieuweveld on the 13:th October 1827 between the hours of 9 and 10 a:m: within the field cornetcy of David Fourie district of Beaufort and given up as follows Thus done and registered in the village of Beaufort on Tuesday the 22:nd day of April 1828 in the presence of Mess:rs Christiaan Johannes Rabe and Walter Harding junior according to the statement of Hendrik van Eck junior who declared in his above statement of this estate to have acted honestly and truly that nothing has been held back to the best of his knowledge and judgement and to be at all times ready (if called upon) to solemnize the same by oath, further promising and binding himself in the event of any thing else belonging to this estate coming to his recollection and knowledge to amplify this inventory with the same.
