MOOC8/44.26 {18290527} 27 May 1829 Johanna Francina Appel Inventory of all such goods and effects as have been possessed by the late Johanna Francina Appel widow of the late Jacob Erasmus born in this Colony died on the 16 January 1829 at the place called Groenfontein in the fieldcornetry Buffelshoek , district Graaff Reinet , aged 44 years Thus done and inventoried at the place Hilgersdal situated in the fieldcornetry Buffelshoek on the 27 day of May 1829 according to the declaration of Barend Nicolaas Janzen, who declared that to the best of his knowledge he has given up all the effects that belong to the estate of the late Johanna Francina Appel widow of the late Jacob Erasmus with further promise should any thing be found afterwards to add it to this inventory for all which he offered to make oath if required.
