MOOC8/44.25 {18290203} 3 February 1829 Alexander Corlette Exh:d the 4 February 1829, n:o 16 Inventory of all such property as has been relinquished by the death ab intestato of Alexander Corlette on the second day of the month of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty nine for the benefit of his unknown foreign heirs. The aforesaid property having been taken under the administration of the Board of Orphan Masters of this Colony in behalf of his aforesaid heirs and been inventoried by me the undersigned and was found to consist in the following, viz:t In the house in Plein Street N:o 21 , occupied by George Sibbald Thus inventoried in Cape Town on the 3:d day of the month of February 1829 according to a statement made by George Sibbald, who declared to have acted herein bonafide and that to the best of his knowledge he has not withheld or secreted any thing that belonged to the aforesaid estate and the said appearer further declared that he is and will at all times be ready and willing to confirm his statement with solemn oath if required promising at the same time that if after the date of these presents any property of this estate might be discovered shall faithfully communicate it to the Orphan Chamber in order to amplify this inventory with the property so discovered. In witness whereof I the undersigned together with the appearer have subscribed to these presents As witness: P: Macdougal George Sibbald In my presence: J:A: Munnik
