In the event you do not have the exact names or surname, we do offer users the opportunity to make use of a Wildcard Search Function, which will allow you to search partial names or surname.
The Wildcard Search
In order to make use of our Wildcard Search function, you can simply make use of the percentage (%) sign when conducting a search.
As an example, you are looking for a Beatrice Smith, but are not sure what her middle names are. In this case, you can enter her name, in the Name field as follow:

Inventory of the goods and effects belonging to the estate of the late
Andries Johannes Kunz and his surviving widow Anna Elisabeth Kok, departed on
the 4th instant in the field of the place of Adriaan Crous
Done by the widow of said deceased Kunz at the requisition of the Board of
Orphan Masters at the Cape of Good Hope in their capacity as guardians of the
minor children of the said Kunz, named
consisting of the goods and effects as following viz:
and other effects belonging to this estate
On this day the 14th June 1825
Appeared before me Johannes Petrus Muller duly authorised by m:r J:J: Bam
in his capacity of agent of Orphan Masters above mentioned
Mrs Anna Elisabeth Kok widow of the late A:J: Kunz
Who declareth that she with regard to this her statement had acted
faithfully and upreihtly and not to have withheld or concealed what she know to
be the property of said estate promessing however that if any further property
should be found belonging to the estate, in such a case to amplify this
inventory with the same, being finally ready to make oath for the truth of this
her statement
This done and executed at the place of Jan Adam Kunz situated in the
district of Swellendam , die et anno ut
