MOOC8/43.44 {18281023} 23 October 1828 Francois Jacobus du Toit , Anna Jacomina Luttig Inventory of the property of the joint estate of Francois Jacobus du Toit and Anna Jacomina Luttig relinquished by the death ab intestato of the first mentioned on the 23rd day of the month of September in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and twenty eight for the benefit of his here aftermentioned children procreated in wedlock by his predeceased wife Hester le Roux, namely The aforesaid property having been taken under the administration of the Board of Orphan Masters of this Colony in behalf of the aforesaid heirs, and been inventoried by the undersigned special Commissioners of the Board aforesaid was found to consist in the following Thus inventoried at the Cape of Good Hope on the 23rd October 1828 according to a statement made by the aforesaid widow, who declared to have acted herein bonafide and that to the best of her knowledge she has not withheld or secreted any thing that belonged to the aforesaid estate. And the said appearer further declared that she is and will at all times be ready and willing to confirm her statement by solemn oath if required, promising at the same time that if after the date of these presents any property of this estate might be discovered shall faithfully communicate it to the Orphan Chamber in order to amplify this inventory with the property so discovered.
