MOOC8/43.36a {18260320} 20 March 1826 John Digby Inventory of all such property as has been relinquished by the death ab intestato of John Digby Esq: on the nineteenth day of the month of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty six for the benefit of his unknown foreign heirs The aforesaid property having been taken under the administration of the Board of Orphan Masters of this Colony in behalf of the said unknown foreign heirs and been inventoried by the undersigned special Commissioners of the Board aforesaid, was found to consist in the following, viz:t At Sussex Place situated at Wineberg Thus inventoried on the place aforesaid on the 20 of March 1826 in the presence of the undersigned Commissioners D: Kuys, J: Horne In my presence by absence of the Secretary: A: v: Breda, Clerk J:F: Serrurier Esq: Dear Sir Please deliver to the Bearer the whole of the property belonging to the late Mr Digby Esq: also the bond given by Mr Wentworth for rd:s2000 Your most whole J:N: Thomson Cape Town, Nov: 12, 1829 I, the undersigned, William Reed, qualified by Mr John Robert Thomson, do acknowledge to have received from the Secretary to the Orphan Chamber Mr J:J:L: Smuts the undermentioned articles found in the estate of the late John Digby, viz:t Orphan Chamber 12:th November 1829 W:m Reed
