Powley
Inventory of the goods and effects belonging to the estate of the late
Francis Gerrard Powley
Done by James O’Conner who attended the said Powley during his sickness,
at the requisition of the Board of Orphan Master at the Cape of Good Hope in
their capacity as testamentary executors of said estate of the minor heirs
being
consisting of the goods and effects as following, viz:
On this day the 30th December 1826 appeared before me Jan Ferdinand Bam as
agent of Orphan aforementioned J:s O’Connor, who declared that he with regard
to this his statement had acted faithfully and upreightly and to have withheld
or concealed what he know to be the property of said estate, promissing however
that if any further property should be found belonging to the estate, that in
such case to amplify this inventory with the same, being finally ready to make
oath for the truth of this his statement
Thus done and executed at the town Swellendam , die et anno ut supra
