MOOC8/42.49 {18280214} 14 February 1828 Sanna van de Kaap Inventory of all such property as have been relinquished by the death ab intestato of Sanna of the Cape deceased slave of Johan Fredrik Gilowy on the sixth day of the month of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty eight for the benefit of her two children, named the aforesaid property having been taken under the administration of the Board of Orphan Masters at the Cape of Good Hope in behalf of her aforesaid two children and been inventoried by the undersigned Commissioners, was found to consist in the following viz: At the house of Johan Fredrik Gilowy Thus inventoried at the Cape of Good Hope on the 14 February 1828 according to a statement made by Mrs Gilowy and her mother Clara, who declared to have acted herein bonafide and that to the best of their knowledge they have not withheld or secreted any thing that belonged to the aforesaid estate, and the said appearers further declared that they are and will at all times be ready and willing to confirm their statement by solemn oath if required, promising at the same time that if after the date of these presents any property of this estate might be discovered shall and will faithfully communicate it to the Orph: Chamber in order to amplify this inventory with the property so discovered. In witness whereof we the Commissioners together with the appearers and the Secretary have subscribed to these presents.
