MOOC8/42.45 {18270724} 24 July 1827 Baart Steenhuys Inventory of all such property as have been sent to this Office as the effects relinquished by the death ab intestato of Baart Steenhuys on the eighth day of the month of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty seven for the benefit of his unknown foreign heirs. The aforesaid property having been taken under the administration of the Board of Orphan Masters of this Colony in behalf of the aforesaid unknown foreign heirs and been inventoried by the undersigned, was found to consist in the following viz:t It is hereby further noticed that Mr P: Woutersen as Agent of the Dutch shiphas stated that the funeral expences and other charges of the Somerset Hospital to the amount of rd:s[ ..... ] has been paid by him for account of the ship, and that no money has been left in his hands for wages due to the deceased. Thus inventoried at the Cape of Good Hope on the twenty fourth day of the month of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty seven.
