A true and perfect inventory of all and every the goods, chatels, wares
and merchandize, as well moveable as not, debts, credits and other personal
effects of the deceased female Hottentot Sara who died intestate at the place
of Albertus Vueselaar on the 23rd August 1827 within the field cornetcy of Mr
Jan van der Westhuizen,

Beaufort , and given up as follows
This done and registered in the village of
Beaufort on Saturday the 1st December 1827 in the
presence of the clerks Christiaan Johannes Rabe and Walter Harding according to
the statement of the field cornet Gerhardus Petrus Marais, who declares in his
above statement of this estate to have acted honestly and truly, that nothing
has been held back to the best of his knowledge and judgement and to be at all
times ready (if called upon) to solemnize the same by oath, further promising
and binding himself in the event of anything else belonging to this estate
coming to his recollection and knowledge to amplify this inventory with the
same
