A true and perfect inventory of all and every the goods, chattels, wares
and merchandise as well moveable as not, debts, credits and other personal
effects of the deceased Hendrick Lambert Bromkost, Hendrick Lamberts son and
his surviving widow Susannah Elizabeth Botha Junes daughter which former died
ab intestato at the
Groote Fountain Nieuwveld Jan:y 26 1824 between the hours of 4 and 5 o clock a:m: within the
fieldcornetship of Alwyn J: Forster,
Nieuwveld district
Beaufort and given up as follows
This done and registered on Wednesday 24 March 1824 at the village of
Beaufort according to the statement of the
widow H:L: Bromkost born Susanna Elizabeth Botha, Junis daughter who declares
in her above statement of this estate being done honestly and truly and that
nothing has been witheld back to the best of her knowledge and further declares
she is always ready if called upon to solemnise the same upon oath and further
promises in the event of anything coming to her recollection or knowledge to
bind herself to add the same to this inventory.
And this done by me the undersigned dep:y Landdrost in the presence of
H:A: Truter and J: Cleaver as witnesses
