MOOC8/41.37 {18261209} 9 December 1826 Anthony Carroll Hayes Inventory of all such property as have been relinquished by the death ab intestato of Anthony Carroll Hayes of his Majesty’s 13:th Light Infantry on the sixth day of the month of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty six at about five o clock in the afternoon for the benefit of his unknown foreign heirs. The aforesaid property having been taken under the administration of the Board of Orphan Masters of this Colony in behalf of the said unknown foreign heirs and been inventoried by the undersigned special Commissioners of the Board aforesaid was found to consist in the following, viz:t Thus inventoried at the Cape of Good Hope in the house of Mr Wrankmore on the ninth day of the month of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty six according to a statement made by captain Munro of the shipwho declared to have acted herein bonafide and that to the best of his knowledge he has not withheld or secreted any thing that belonged to the aforesaid estate and the said appearer further declared that he is and will at all times be ready and willing to confirm his statement by solemn oath if required promising at the same time that if after the date of these presents any property of this estate might be discovered shall and will faithfully communicate it to the Orphan Chamber in order to amplify this inventory with the property so discovered.
