MOOC8/41.30 {18260112} 12 January 1826 Ann MacGregor Exh:d the 25:th of January 1826 n:o 20 M:cGragor Inventory of all such property as has been left by the death ab intestato of Ann MacGregor wife of Thomas Surnyard on the 12:t of January 1826 for the benifit of her only child Ann Surnyard aged 14 years procreated in lawful marriage by her said husband. This estate having been taken under the administration of the Board of Orphan Masters of this Colony, in behalf of said minor child and has been inventoried by me the undersigned and was found to consist in the following, viz:t Thus inventoried at the Cape of Good Hope on the 12:t January 1826 according to a statement made by Mr Elias Sherman who declared to have acted herein bonafide and to the best of his knowledge he has not secreted or withheld any thing belonging to said estate and that he is and will at all times be ready and willing to confirm his statement by solemn oath if required promising that if after the date of these presents discover any property belonging to said estate he shall faithfully communicate it to the Orphan Chamber in order to amplify this inventory with the property so discovered.
