MOOC8/40.50 {18260626} 26 June 1826 George Johnson Inventory of all such property as has been relinquished by the death ab intestato of Esquire George Johnson of the Bombay establishment on the 25:th day of the month of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty six, for the benefit of his unknown foreign heirs. The aforesaid property have been found under the care of Carel Wilhem Fredrik Bestandig and was duly inventoried by the undersigned special Commissioners of the Orphan Board and consist in the following, viz:t At the house of m:r Carel Wilhelm Fred:k Bestandig, where the deceased had his lodging Thus inventoried at the Cape of Good Hope on the 26:th June 1826 according to a statement made by Mr Carel Wilhelm Fredrik Bestandig who declared to have acted herein bonafide and that to the best of his knowledge he has not with held or secreted any thing that belonged to the aforesaid estate, and that he is and will at all times be ready and willing to confirm his statement by solemn oath if required, promising that if after the date of these presents any property might be discovered he shall faithfully communicate it to the Orphan Chamber in order to amplify this inventory with the property so discovered In witness whereof we the Commis together with the Secretary and appearer have subscribed to these presents.
