MOOC8/39.32 {18250319} 19 March 1825 Ann Hart Inventory of all such property as has been relinquished by the death ab intestato of Ann Hart widow of James Leader on Friday the 18th day of the month of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty five, for the benefit of her four children procreated in marriage by her aforesaid husband The aforesaid property having been taken under the ex officio administration of the Board of Orphan Masters of this colony in behalf of the aforesaid children, and being inventoried by me the undersigned, was found to consist of the following articles viz:t At the house of the widow Matfeld occupied by James Jurry Thus inventoried at the Cape of Good Hope in the aforesaid house on the nineteenth day of the month of March one thousand eight hundred and twenty five according to a statement made by Mess:s James Luke Church and William Forbes who declared to have acted herein bonfide and that to the best of their knowledge they have not secreted or withheld anything that belonged to the aforesaid estate, and the said appeasers further declared that they are and will at all times be ready and willing to confirm their statement by solemn oath if required, promising at the same time that after the dato of these presents any property of this estate might be discovered, shall faithfully communicate it to the Orphan Chamber in order to amplify this inventory with the property to be discovered.
